AuthentiCare Digital Accessibility Statement

Our Policy & Commitment

At AuthentiCare, we are fully committed to accessibility, diversity and inclusion and to ensuring our digital assets (websites, online services, apps, document files, and products) are accessible for all customers, including people with disabilities. We have made a commitment to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 (WCAG 2.0 levels A and AA) and the revised Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. We are also firmly dedicated to complying with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) 2010.

Accessibility Statement

Our target accessibility standard is the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level A and Level AA. As we work toward meeting these standards, we continue to develop our digital accessibility compliance program, which includes coordination, as well as designing, developing and testing AuthentiCare digital assets for conformance to WCAG 2.0 criteria

Features of AuthentiCare Digital Assets

Some example accessibility features of our digital assets (websites, online services, apps, and document files) include:

  • Structural Markup : We are working to ensure semantic elements and techniques are used – such as headings, lists, paragraphs, and WAI-ARIA markup – to help make sure that assistive technologies can convey appropriate information to persons with disabilities.
  • Text Equivalents : We are working to make sure that images and media are accessible through alternative text equivalents.
  • Keyboard Access : We are making efforts to ensure that keyboard-only users can navigate and use all AuthentiCare digital products and services.

Identified Accessibility Issues and Solutions

Despite best efforts to ensure accessibility, some issues have been identified on the AuthentiCare website https://uat.authenticare.com/okdhs/login.aspx. Those issues and workarounds for them are detailed on the identified accessibility issues and solutions page.
